Ingredients(biscuit sticks):
- 125g/4.5 oz plain flour
- 35g/ 1.5oz sugar
- 85g/ 3oz butter
- 1 teasp vanilla
- 3 teasp cocoa powder / drinking chocolate.
Supplies(reindeer):
- Icing bags
- Clear elastics/clean unused elastic
- Googly eyes
- Red poms
- Pipe cleaners
- Hot chocolate ingredients(drinking chocolate, sweets, marshmallows etc)
Method:
- Pre-heat oven to 180 degrees (c), gas mark 4, 350 degrees (f).
- Mix flour & sugar together in a bowl. Add butter & rub together until a breadcrumb consistency is formed.

- Divide the mixture into two bowls.

- In one bowl add 3 teasp of drinking chocolate/ cocoa powder. In the other bowl add a teasp of vanilla essence. Knead both mixtures into dough’s.
- Roll out both dough’s. Using a pizza roller divide into strips.
- Roll out the strips & twist them together.
- Cut the rolled out biscuit twists in two & place onto a lined baking tray & cook for 20 minutes or until golden.
- (While the biscuits are in the oven we can put together the reindeer)
- Place an icing bag into a mug and scoop in 1/4 cup of cocoa powder, twist the icing bag & tie with a small clear elastic/clean unused elastic. Snip of the excess icing bag with a scissors.
- Place the first icing bag into another icing bag. Add in whatever sweets/candy you like ( I used m&ms) & marshmallows & tie off the bag with a small clear elastic/clean unused elastic.

- Add pipe cleaners around it to resemble antlers. Glue on two googly eyes & a red pom.

- When biscuits are out of the oven cut to desired size & allow to cool. These can be used to stir your hot chocolate or gifted separately in a Christmas bag.
Enjoy ! Have a very Merry Christmas & a healthy, happy New Year!
