Merry Grinchmas Oat Cookies

Ingredients:

• 50g/2oz plain flour
• 75g/6oz porridge oats
• 50g/2oz caster sugar
• 50g/2oz butter
• 1 egg
• 2 teasp vanilla essence
• a few splashes of green food colouring
• red & green M&M’s

Method:

1. Pre-heat oven to 180 degrees (c), gas mark 4, 350 degrees (f).
2. Put butter, sugar, an egg & vanilla essence into a bowl and cream until smooth. 
   

   
3. Stir in flour & oats
4. Add green food colouring & green M&M’s , mix until fully coated.
5. Spoon mixture onto a lined baking tray in balls, add red M&M’s to the cookie dough balls.
6. Bake for 15 minutes.  Allow to cool & enjoy!
