
Hey you guys,
Does anyone else ever find that they have lots of leftover, turkey, ham, potatoes etc after Christmas & are unsure what to do with them?
Well here is a list of some of the things I do with my leftovers that might give you some inspiration.
- Turkey curry: fry up your turkey with some mushrooms, peppers, onions & garlic, throw on a curry sauce & serve with rice or chips.
- Ham & Turkey Pie: cook up some of your favourite veg (or leftover Christmas Veg) add with your ham & turkey to a pie dish, pour over your favourite sauce I love mushroom sauce (recipe to follow) & top with mash (leftover or fresh).
- Ham & Turkey Macaroni: cook pasta, add to a pie dish with your leftover ham & turkey add Cheese Sauce Recipe, top with bread crumbs and cook in the oven until golden.
- Ham & Turkey Gratin: add your leftover ham & turkey to my Potato Gratin Recipe.
- Ham & Turkey Soup: Add ham, turkey or leftover veg to either of my soup recipes such as Broccoli Soup (Baby friendly)and Carrot & Parsnip Soup (baby friendly).
- Christmas Sandwich or Wrap: Add ham, turkey or leftover (stuffing) to a wrap or bread to make a yummy snack.
- Leftover Bake: layer ham, turkey & stuffing into tinfoil cover in gravy & bake in the oven.
- Chips: Put your leftover potatoes into silicone baking moulds, cover in cling film & freeze. In the future pop them out onto a lined baking tray & pop into the oven to make oven chips.
- Ham & Turkey Salad: Serve your ham & turkey with your favourite chopped salad.
- Leftover Pie: Add your turkey, stuffing, ham, veg & gravy to my pastry mix from my Apple Pie Recipe.
- Ham & Turkey Stir-fry: Add your ham & turkey to a pan with onion, garlic, mushrooms,peppers & beansprouts. Top with your favourite stir-fry sauce & serve with rice, chips or noodles.
- Stuffing Burgers: Add egg to your leftover stuffing to bind, then fry. Serve on a bun or with your leftover ham & turkey or side salad.
- Stock cubes: Use leftover meat juices to create stock cubes, pour juices into an ice cube tray & freeze.
